Care for a beverage? Gingered Apple Sparkler
We were super excited earlier this month when our client, Patricia of MotherinLawHell.com, told us that she was going to be on Dr. Phil’s show. Woo! That’s amazing to start. But when we found out her website was going to be displayed on Dr. Phil’s “big screen” we were even more excited. National television? Syndicated even? Yes, please.
Last Friday the episode aired and I made sure to record it for posterity. Full disclosure: I don’t watch Dr. Phil often (ok, ever), but I was more than happy to watch it that day! And according to Patricia, the Dr. Phil staff “LOVE the design!” and think “it’s so FUN!”. Yay! We’re thrilled to hear that since we pride ourselves on bold and happy designs. We do fun. Come and knock on our door, Dr. Phil’s staff. Anytime! :)
(If I find a video clip or can figure out how to get it out of my cable box and into an uploadable file, I’ll post it here.)
Patricia appeared on the show via Skype and looked fabulous. She and her sister-in-law, Robin, were charming and did a great job of promoting their site. I was so happy for her!
Mother in Law Hell is actually undergoing a rebrand right now—new name, new look, new exclusive daughter-in-law community!—and we’ll be migrating the site from Wordpress to Expression Engine, which is the perfect platform to help her existing community grow. We love working with Patricia and I’m proud to share in not only her TV experience, but the growth of her brand. Congratulations to Patricia and stay tuned for more news about the new Daughter-in-Law Society!

We’re watching our figures around here, so we thought we’d share a recipe from the Hungry Girl herself, Lisa Lillien. If you don’t subscribe to her newsletter, you should. It’s very informative and Lisa’s a lot of fun! View this recipe on Hungry Girl’s site.
Bonus: St. Patrick’s Day is coming up—and these are a lovely shade of green. Make these instead of serving green beer for your calorie conscious friends!

Ok, so it's not really a magazine. It's barely even a newsletter. "Low-volume" is an understatement. We save the mailing list for the really exclusive stuff or the really BIG stuff. So, you can feel confident signing up without fear of us flooding your inbox.
But if mailing lists don't blow your dress up, you can catch us on Twitter, Facebook or subscribe to our RSS feed.
We may be bijou, but we're the cat's pajamas, so we're only able to accept a limited number of projects per season. We encourage you to submit your inquiry early.
Kathy is available for new projects in March 2012.
Joelle is available for new projects in June 2012.
